I have been experimenting recently with using the Korg nanoKONTROL with Traktor (I'm still on Traktor Studio 3 - sorry), but I wanted to be able to just print up a diagram of my MIDI mappings to sketch them out while I'm getting it "tuned" to the way I work instead of labeling my controller (I'll save that for last).
So I created a set of templates in PNG format. The one that will work for most people is probably just the nanokontrol.png:
(also available here)
Or if you want more variety (like if you have trouble printing out that image, like I did in Fireworks), you can download the set of three templates here. Actually it's just two... the "-screen.png" version is the same as the one referenced above. Whatever.
Anyway, I hope they're helpful to someone else!

bankheadd - Duncan Bankhead - Summer 1992 - SoundCloud
Got a tip the other day on a really awesome 1992 old-school house mix, which can be found here:
bankheadd - Duncan Bankhead - Summer 1992 - SoundCloud
This mix really took me back, and what's interesting to me is that even though Duncan Bankhead is in Scotland, I believe, and I was out here in California, much of the tracks that are on that list are the exact same ones that I was listening to and mixing at the same time - and that was without the internet!!!
OK, so maybe it's not all that amazing, but when I think back it seems incredible. I think a few of my friends and the guys I was talking to at the record shops and the remix subscription services that I was using at the time (razormaid, twitch, metropolis, m) were very much in tune with what was happening in europe, and, let's face it... the music scene was just light years beyond what was going on in the States at that time (college alternative & grunge - ugh...).
Anyway Duncan's mix is really great - and long(!) - so go check it out!

DX1 Input System - The Ultimate Customizable Keyboard
I think I may need one of these for music applications and DJing:
ThinkGeek :: DX1 Input System :: Zoom!
ThinkGeek :: DX1 Input System :: Zoom!
"...all you do is stick the keys where you want and then tell the DX1 what you want each key to do."

Josh Wink - Radio 1 Essential Mix
Recorded for the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix show, Josh Wink shows his DJ talent...
Josh Wink Essential Mix | Beatportal
I was blown away at the rich content of the mix and the interesting layering of tracks.
I think the mix was only officially posted on the BBC site until 1.jan.2009, but you may be able to find it archived elsewhere...
